hard to say. In fact i wanted to make my sample code also optionally waiting for the process to exit. And could not make it.
Now I do not remember what was the problem -- from the documentation it sounded that it also must be callable so that it waits for the process to end, but it did not work for me. But I also did not try very hard though.
