Michael,
I've never look into this issue. But I'd first check if this log is not being written to an agent data note. I have a couple of samples dealing with finding and deleting of these data notes (when they get disassociated from agents), but I never checked for any useful content inside. It would be my #1 suspect for storing Agent log.
I'm not sure that plain deletion of the note will be the best solution, but it could be acceptable; or obviously you could remove the item. Provided of course the log is in there.
