Main topic: Pass Notes Session (Object) to externel (C)-Programm/DLL

Pass Notes Session (Object) to externel (C)-Programm/DLL (by Normunds Kalnberzins, 06/29/2005 01:18:01 PM)

probably you could guess the answer (as everybody keeps silent:-). Even if you could guess something about undocumented structure of Notes objects, I assume the object structure and authentication mechanism used with COM and Notes native access would be different.

Well if you pass COM NotesSession to C you are possibly able to re-use it -- to pass back to VB code; at least running in the same address space, but then it's probably the same app, so it makes no sense. And I can hardly imagine a situation wher you would need this (I mean VB-C-VB). I could imagine you'd like to have Notes-C-VB sequence; sounds a tad too crazy :-)
