sorry, I cannot help. Why do think it's possible at all -- I understand you want to hide the progress bar and just leave the text.
As this is an undocumented function, then hardly anybody will know this -- if it's possible. I guess you could try to use some Win32 function/functions to display a window and change(overwrite the displayed text.
