Main topic: NAMELocateNext... on iSeries

I came across a problem with using NAMELocateNextMatch and NAMELocateNextName from LS on iSeries. Much like OSLockObject, those functions return a pointer. My first thought then was that libdomw.savf would contain wrappers xNAMELocateNextMatch and xNAMELocateNextName to work around that issue, similar as xOSLockObject does. However, the documentation does not mention such wrappers. Are they available anyway? Any other suggestions?
