Main topic: Locate the $FILE to a richtext attachment object?

Locate the $FILE to a richtext attachment object? (by Normunds Kalnberzins, 09/06/2005 02:16:37 PM)

I have this experience, but only in a sense that I did that for rtLib via C API calls -- went plain thru CD-records. I do not think that it (finding out both display/internal names of "embedded objects") could be done in straight LotusScript.

Before I did not think about what you can get in plain LS -- but if it's only a display name, it means that in case there can be 2 attachments with the same (display) name, you'll get confused unless you have a way to discover the internal name linked to the EmbeddedObject. In this case I have a bad feeling that you'll have to go through Rich Text on CD-record level to find that out. It would have been easier to go through $FILE items to get the display names, but that seems is not enough.
